week three ♡ wednesday ♡ bellamy blake
[he's got enough decency to wait until bellamy is patched up, until things have calmed down as much as they even can.
akira is decidedly not calm.
akira is furious, and when he sees that bellamy is alone, he's going to approach and just. deck him really fucking hard in the face. and despite looking pretty lean, akira is pretty damn strong and seems to know how to throw a vicious right hook.
he'll be able to see it clearer when akira's not wearing his glasses (a safety precaution) that his eyes are lit with an absolute fury that hasn't faded since everyone came back. more than after haru died, more than at her trial, more than at yato's execution—he's pissed in a way he's never let show until now.]
What the fuck were you thinking!? Both of you!?
[he real mad.]

What do you want me to say?

[he won't hit bellamy again because that's not really his way, but he sure is furious.]
You could have gotten me and Serph killed with this kind of reckless bullshit. You have a hell of a lot of talking to do.
no subject
[That's not a justification, but it was his thought process.]
no subject
[his team never made a choice that big unless all parties agree to it, so this? this is a pretty big transgression, especially after saturday night when they all seemed to be a little more okay with working closer together.]
no subject
We screwed up.
no subject
You sure did. We're supposed to be trying to keep ourselves safe, not getting maimed or killed without a plan that we can agree on.
[kind of fucking with his trust here, you know.]
no subject
[He sounds genuine, for what it's worth.]
no subject
You should have. You both failed the first rule of how to play games with bonds and trust.
[maybe his anger had been scathing enough, but adults fucking up his opportunities in life is so prevalent that he actually is hurt by this.
raven and bellamy both kind of betrayed him by not telling him their plans and playing with his life in the process, like he can really afford to die so foolishly right now. hasn't he had it bad enough in these last three weeks without the people he's putting his trust in to work with him going behind his back and nearly getting killed.
which is why after a moment, he turns away and mutters quietly:] I should have known.

Nothing, it doesn't matter.
[so no, not that. he doesn't. really seem to be willing to open up about that yet though. that's a little close to home and even if akira's real pissed off...
he worries about bellamy too, and. well, he did just kind of knock him in the face after that whole ordeal, so there's that.]

[He stops, shaking his head for a moment, as though to clear it.]
We've been trying to find a way out, but there's nothing. No plan, no progress. Every conversation we have goes in circles, and we're losing four more people this week because we don't know how to stop it. That—[He gestures in the vague direction of the jungle.]—was my last idea. Raven's last idea.
no subject
And neither of you had the foresight or the trust to tell your partners, whose lives also hinge on your actions.
[...] Instead, you betray ours by running off recklessly instead of opening the floor to other ideas, or even making a plan we could be ready for.
no subject
[He exhales slowly.]
It won't happen again. I can promise you that.
no subject
[he's... well, at least a little calmer. it's clear though that he feels more upset and betrayed more than he's that angry; he's not harboring resentment or hatred or anything else.
this is just an uncomfortably familiar feeling, being betrayed by an adult that he should be able to trust.]
no subject
[They're just fumbling through this in a way he isn't used to.]
no subject
[he knows that. he doesn't think that they did it to betray him specifically, or that they have ill intent.
but it's still just... adults being selfish and stupid .]
no subject
We didn't find anything. The jungle isn't worth it, unless we figure out a hell of a way to defend ourselves.

[Not that they've been making an amazing amount of headway there.]
no subject
[which means they're going to get nothing done, probably.]
